ADAMA Bazak: Product Overview
ADAMA Bazak is an effervescent water-dispersible granule insecticide containing Pymetrozine 29.2% + Dinotefuran 11.7% WDG. Its verified Indian use is the control of brown plant hopper, or BPH (Nilaparvata lugens), in rice.
Bazak combines two insecticide modes of action: Pymetrozine in IRAC Group 9B and Dinotefuran in IRAC Group 4A. ADAMA presents the product as a preventive or prophylactic shield to be used before BPH pressure escalates. The current sources checked do not provide a universal pest threshold, exact rice growth stage, spray interval or repeat count, so those details must come from the current physical label and qualified local advice.
The verified formulation rate is 500 g/ha in 500 L water/ha, with a 22-day pre-harvest interval. This page intentionally does not convert that label rate into a per-acre, per-litre, tank or pack-coverage claim.
