1. Systemic uptake: the fungicide is taken into treated plant tissue when applied according to the label.
2. Tubulin disruption: Carbendazim interferes with beta-tubulin polymerisation and normal microtubule formation.
3. Cell-division inhibition: susceptible fungi cannot complete normal mitosis, limiting continued germ-tube elongation and infection growth.

FRAC notes that resistance is common in many fungal species and that Group 1 members generally show positive cross-resistance. Another Carbendazim, Benomyl, Thiabendazole or Thiophanate-methyl product must not be presented as a different-mode resistance rotation.

The government table also contains an “aerial phase” entry and tapioca and chilli rows whose extracted crop/disease, dose or water-volume presentation is ambiguous. They are intentionally omitted here until the current physical Bavistin label is inspected. A dash in the government PHI column is not permission to harvest immediately; check and follow the current pack.

• Confirm the exact crop, disease, rate, water volume, method and any local restriction on the current physical Bavistin label before use.
• For a wet-slurry seed-treatment row, measure both product and water for the stated seed weight. Coat the seed uniformly and follow the pack's drying, handling and sowing directions.
• For a spray row, measure the treated area and use the listed total water volume. Do not turn an area rate into a universal grams-per-litre rate.
• This page makes no tank-mix or simultaneous-use recommendation. Apply Bavistin only as its own label directs.
• Wear the gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and respiratory protection specified on the current Bavistin label; avoid skin and eye contact and avoid breathing dust or spray mist.
• If the crop is intended for export, confirm the destination-market residue requirements and the buyer's crop protocol before use; an Indian registration does not by itself guarantee compliance with another market's MRLs.
• Keep the product away from food, feed, children and animals. Prevent spray, wash water and packaging from reaching ponds, drains or aquaculture.
• Store locked in the original labelled container in a cool, dry and ventilated place. Follow the current pack for first aid, disposal and medical guidance.

FRAC classifies Carbendazim as a high-resistance-risk Group 1 fungicide. Avoid repeated Group 1 treatments. Where another treatment is necessary, choose a separately applied product from a genuinely different FRAC group only when its current Indian label covers the same crop and disease. Follow the dose, PHI, timing and maximum-use restrictions of each product independently.
