HPM Batista: Product Overview
HPM Batista is a suspension-concentrate systemic fungicide containing Carbendazim 500 g/L or 46.27% SC. Its verified Indian uses are powdery mildew in grapes and mango.
Carbendazim belongs to the methyl benzimidazole carbamate, or MBC, fungicides in FRAC Group 1. HPM describes Batista as protective and curative, with absorption through roots and green tissues followed by upward, or acropetal, movement. The registered foliar directions below are crop-specific and should not be extended to unlisted crops, diseases, seed treatments or soil applications.
The label rate is concentration-based: 100 ml formulation per 100 L water, equivalent to 0.1% formulation, with total water stated as “as required.” Because no fixed hectare or acre water volume is supplied, do not publish a universal dose per acre or acres-per-pack claim.
