1. Profenofos - IRAC 1B: inhibits acetylcholinesterase, disrupting normal nerve-signal regulation in exposed insects.
2. Cypermethrin - IRAC 3A: modulates insect nerve-cell sodium channels, disturbing normal electrical signalling.
3. Exposure route: the registered formulation is described as having contact and stomach action, so correct spray placement and crop coverage remain important.

IRAC groups describe mode of action, not efficacy or toxicity. Do not call the product systemic, translaminar, ovicidal, resistance-proof or rainfast unless the current Banjo Super label does so.

The official hectare rate is authoritative. It is approximately 405-607 ml formulation per acre in about 202-405 L water per acre, but field calibration and the current pack label govern. Because both dose and water are ranges, there is no single universal ml-per-litre value.

• Timing: apply according to pest occurrence and the current Banjo Super label; do not make an automatic calendar spray.
• Mixing: measure accurately, add to clean water and agitate to make a homogeneous emulsion. Maintain agitation during application.
• Equipment: the leaflet lists knapsack sprayer, foot sprayer and strip pump for high-volume use. Calibrate before spraying.
• Coverage: use the label water volume to obtain uniform cotton-crop coverage without runoff or drift.
• Weather: spray in the direction of the wind, never against it, and obey all weather restrictions on the current pack.
• Repeat use: the leaflet states a 10-15 day interval when another application is necessary. Follow the current pack, pest monitoring and resistance advice; do not repeat automatically.

Banjo Super contains IRAC Groups 1B and 3A. Roket or Polytrin C is an alternative brand, not a resistance rotation. If another treatment is justified, select a separately applied different-group product whose label covers cotton and the diagnosed bollworm. Do not tank mix based on this page.

• Wear full protective clothing and the gloves, eye/face and respiratory protection specified on the current label while measuring, mixing and spraying.
• Keep the concentrate away from food, feed and food containers. Avoid contact with the mouth, eyes and skin and avoid breathing spray mist.
• Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew during handling. Wash exposed skin, contaminated clothing and equipment thoroughly after use.
• Prevent concentrate, spray, surplus mixture and washings from polluting wells, ponds, canals, drains or other water. Never reuse an empty pesticide container.
• Store the original labelled container locked in a dry, ventilated pesticide-storage area away from food, feed, children and animals.

Possible poisoning signs on the statutory leaflet include headache, weakness, dizziness, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, sweating, tears, salivation and allergic symptoms. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting or give liquid; obtain urgent medical help. Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and plenty of water. Rinse affected eyes with clean water for 10-15 minutes. Move an inhalation-exposed person to fresh air.

The leaflet identifies atropine and 2-PAM as physician-administered treatment. Never self-administer them from website instructions. Seek emergency care and take the product label to the doctor.
