3. ACCase inhibition: HRAC classifies Quizalofop-Ethyl in Group 1, which inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase and disrupts fatty-acid synthesis required for continued grass growth.

Repeated use of Group 1 herbicides can select resistant grass populations. A different Quizalofop brand remains the same mode of action and is a substitute, not a resistance-management rotation.

PHI means pre-harvest interval. The official table publishes a 69–103-day range. Follow the exact rate-linked directions on the current pack; do not assume that 69 days applies to every use situation.

• Scout first: confirm that the dominant weeds are registered grasses. Bango does not replace control measures for broadleaf weeds or sedges.
• Prepare the emulsion: add the measured herbicide slowly to clean water and stir thoroughly until it is properly emulsified.
• Use the specified equipment: apply with a knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat-fan nozzle for uniform weed-foliage coverage.
• Protect nearby grass crops: prevent spray drift onto rice, maize, wheat, sorghum or other desirable grasses.
• No inferred mixtures: this page does not recommend combining Bango with another herbicide, pesticide, fertiliser or adjuvant. Related and rotation products are separate alternatives.

The formulation label warns that Quizalofop-Ethyl 10% EC is moderately toxic to fish. Prevent drift, runoff, surplus spray and equipment washings from entering ponds, canals or aquaculture areas. Avoid inhalation and contact with skin or eyes. Do not handle with bare hands; wear rubber gloves, a face mask and full protective clothing as directed. Do not eat, drink, chew or smoke while handling the herbicide. Wash contaminated skin and clothing with soap and plenty of water. Store the closed original container under lock and key, away from children, food and animal feed. Do not reuse empty containers.
