1. Azoxystrobin — FRAC 11: acts at the Qo site of fungal mitochondrial complex III, disrupting electron transfer and energy production. FRAC classifies Group 11 as a high-resistance-risk cross-resistance group.
2. Tricyclazole — FRAC 16.1: inhibits a reductase step in fungal melanin biosynthesis. In the rice-blast pathogen, melanin is important for the infection structure that penetrates the plant surface.
3. Premix action: the formulated product brings both target-site actions into one registered paddy treatment. The premix does not remove the need for label-compliant resistance management.

The official hectare recommendation governs use. The acre figures below are rounded metric conversions for planning; calibrate the sprayer and follow the current pack label.

PHI means pre-harvest interval. The label lists 2–3 applications at pre- to mid-tillering and at flowering. Do not exceed the label programme.

• Diagnose first: confirm sheath blight, blast or brown spot rather than treating a nutrient disorder, bacterial problem or spray injury as a fungal disease.
• Prepare the spray: measure the required quantity, mix it first with a small quantity of clean water, then add the remaining water with thorough agitation.
• Calibrate equipment: use a suitable calibrated sprayer and obtain uniform foliar coverage with the stated water volume.
• Check weather: follow the label weather limits. Avoid temperatures above 30°C, relative humidity below 40% and unsuitable or changing wind conditions.
• Respect the mixing restriction: do not combine Azotrix with insecticides or plant growth regulators. Recommendations displayed elsewhere are separate alternatives, never tank-mix instructions.

FRAC places azoxystrobin in Group 11, where cross-resistance is known among QoI fungicides, and tricyclazole in Group 16.1. Apply Azotrix at the registered rate and timing, and do not rely on repeated Group 11 + 16.1 applications alone. Where a later treatment is justified, choose a separately registered rice fungicide from a genuinely different FRAC group and follow that product’s own label. Rotation means separate, sequential applications; it does not mean putting the products in the same tank.

Read the complete current label and leaflet before use. Wear the protective clothing and equipment stated on the label; avoid contact with the mouth, eyes and skin and avoid breathing spray mist. Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling or applying the product. Wash exposed skin, contaminated clothing and equipment after use. Keep people and animals out of the treated area for the 24-hour re-entry period. The registration decision identifies toxicity to aquatic invertebrates, including fish, so prevent drift, runoff and wash water from reaching ponds, canals or aquaculture areas. Store the closed original container in a cool, dry, locked place away from heat, open flame, children, food and feed. No specific antidote is listed; treatment is symptomatic and supportive, so obtain medical help promptly after suspected poisoning and take the label with you. Do not reuse the empty container.
