Atrazine inhibits photosystem II electron transport in susceptible weeds, limiting the photosynthetic process needed for growth. Uptake and performance depend on the labelled use pattern, weed species, growth stage, soil and moisture conditions, application quality and weather. A Group 5 classification must never be treated as proof that Atranex is suitable for an unlisted crop or a missed application window.
