Apache works via a unique "Lock and Block" mechanism that targets the pest in two completely different ways:

  1. The Lock (Fipronil): It hits the insect's central nervous system (GABA receptors). This causes uncontrollable tremors, paralysis ("locking" the muscles), and rapid death.
  2. The Block (Flonicamid): It targets the feeding sensors. Within 30 minutes, the pest forgets how to feed and withdraws its mouthpart ("blocking" the damage). The pest starves to death.
