After application, Fosetyl-Al is taken up through treated foliage or roots and is redistributed in both directions within the plant. Bayer describes Aliette as acting directly on the disease organism while also supporting the plant's own defence response. This systemic behaviour distinguishes it from fungicides that remain only on the sprayed surface.

Systemic movement does not make Aliette suitable for every crop or disease. Apply it only where the current Indian label lists the crop, disease, application method and rate. For disease-program planning, treat FRAC P07 as its own mode-of-action group and choose any rotation product only where that product's separate label covers the crop and disease.

PHI = pre-harvest interval. The grape and cardamom values above are hectare-based Indian registered-use values. Do not convert them into a fixed per-litre or per-acre dose unless the current label and actual spray-water volume support that conversion.

Re-entry interval: an exact Indian re-entry interval was not stated in the official sources checked. Keep people and animals out of the treated area until spray has dried and follow any longer interval printed on the current pack label.

• Confirm the crop, disease, dose, water volume, timing and PHI on the current Indian label before measuring the product.
• Because Aliette is a wettable powder, avoid breathing dust while measuring. Prepare and agitate the spray mixture only as directed on the pack label.
