1. Exposure: Diafenthiuron reaches susceptible pests by contact and feeding, with movement through treated leaf tissue.
2. Energy disruption: Its active form inhibits mitochondrial ATP synthase, interfering with production of cellular energy.

Agas is not a fungicide and does not control rice blast, sheath blight or other plant diseases. It should not be described as fully systemic or as protecting untreated new growth.

• Identify the target: Confirm the pest and crop are present in the registered-use table.
• Measure and mix: Wear the label-specified PPE, prepare the WP suspension in the stated mixing order and maintain agitation as directed.
• Coverage: Use calibrated equipment and the registered water volume to cover the target leaf surfaces without runoff or drift.
• Pollinators: Do not spray while bees are actively foraging, and follow all label precautions for flowering crops.
• Water protection: Keep spray, equipment washings and surplus product out of ponds, streams, drains and irrigation water.

Repeated use of IRAC Group 12A can select resistant pests. Use integrated pest management and rotate to a different effective IRAC group only when the alternative product's own label covers the same crop and pest. A same-active Diafenthiuron product is a comparison alternative, not a different-mode rotation partner.
