BASF Acrobat: Product Overview
BASF Acrobat is a wettable-powder fungicide containing Dimethomorph 50% WP. Its verified Indian uses are grape downy mildew and potato late blight.
Dimethomorph belongs to the carboxylic acid amide fungicides in FRAC Group 40. BASF describes Acrobat as systemic, translaminar and anti-sporulant. It should be positioned preventively, before disease is established, and used only on the crops and diseases listed on the current Indian pack.
Current BASF India directions give the same area-based formulation dose and water volume for both verified crops: 400 g/acre in 300 L water/acre. The Government of India major-use table expresses the corresponding hectare directions as 1,000 g formulation/ha in 750 L water/ha. Do not replace these directions with a universal grams-per-litre claim.
