1. Group 40 action: Dimethomorph disrupts normal cellulose synthesis and cell-wall deposition in susceptible oomycete pathogens.
2. Leaf-tissue protection: BASF describes the product as systemic and translaminar, helping the active ingredient move through treated leaf tissue.
3. Anti-sporulant effect: the product inhibits sporulation, helping limit further disease spread when used preventively as directed.
4. Resistance stewardship: Dimethomorph, Mandipropamid, Iprovalicarb, Benthiavalicarb and Valifenalate are all CAA fungicides in FRAC Group 40. Products containing those actives are substitutes or same-group options, not different-group rotations.

PHI = pre-harvest interval. The current BASF India product page states 34 days for grapes, while the Government of India major-use table dated 31 March 2024 lists 25 days; both list 16 days for potato. The current physical Indian pack is the final authority. If the grape discrepancy cannot be resolved before application, follow the longer 34-day interval and obtain current label guidance.

• Apply preventively and confirm the crop, disease, dose, water volume, PHI and all use restrictions on the current physical pack before spraying.
• Measure the wettable powder carefully without raising dust. Prepare and agitate the spray mixture only as directed on the pack, and achieve thorough, even coverage.
• This page makes no tank-mix or compatibility recommendation. Every Related or rotation product shown below is a standalone option for a separate, label-directed application.
• Avoid breathing dust, spray or mist. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye or face protection. Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling the product, and wash thoroughly afterward.
• Prevent product, spray liquid and empty containers from reaching drains, surface water or groundwater. Keep it away from food and animal feed.
• Store in the original labelled container in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, protected from heat and unauthorised access.
• For eye exposure, rinse cautiously with clean water for at least 15 minutes. For skin exposure, wash with soap and water. If inhaled, move to fresh air. If swallowed or if symptoms occur, obtain medical advice and show the product label. The safety data sheet states that no specific antidote is known and treatment is symptomatic.

FRAC reports cross-resistance within the CAA fungicide group. Do not present another Group 40 product as a resistance rotation after Acrobat. If another fungicide treatment is required, choose a separately applied product from a genuinely different FRAC group only when that product's current Indian label covers the same crop and disease. Follow each product's own dose, water volume, timing, PHI and maximum-use restrictions.
