How It Works: Spray Adjuvant Action

Wetsil Plus changes how a suitable spray mixture behaves on the treated surface; it does not replace the product being applied.

  1. Spreading: Helps distribute the spray across the surface.
  2. Sticking: Helps the spray stick to the treated surface.
  3. Penetration: Supports penetration of the spray mixture. The partner product still determines the treatment purpose and its use restrictions.

Crop Suitability & Spray Purpose

Use
Purpose and conditions
Crop spraying
  • Spray-adjuvant use across crops, only where the crop and spray partner’s directions permit it.
  • Spreading, sticking and penetration are spray functions, not claims to control a particular pest or disease.

Dosage & Application Guide

Application Requirements

Select the crop, spray partner, application stage, water volume and treated area together before measuring the adjuvant. Use the directions for both products and the actual sprayer setup; do not treat a pumpful or the pack volume as a fixed treatment area.

How to Apply: Best Practices

  • Check the mixture: Confirm that both products permit the exact combination. Compatibility with some pesticides does not establish compatibility with every pesticide, fertilizer or crop.
  • Avoid incompatible materials: Keep away from acids and oxidising agents, which may degrade the product.
  • Keep the partner’s directions: Use as a foliar spray and follow the spray partner’s crop, timing, rate and weather requirements. Do not reduce its prescribed amount merely because an adjuvant is added.
  • Handle with protection: Work with ventilation and wear the protective clothing, chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection described below.
  • Protect water: Keep spray, spills and equipment washings out of drains, streams and other water bodies.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is Wetsil Plus a pesticide or a fertilizer?
It is a spray adjuvant. Its purpose is to help spray spread, stick and penetrate; it does not replace a pest-control treatment or the crop’s nutrient plan.
2. Can I mix it with every pesticide?
No. Check the exact spray partner, crop and both product directions before mixing. Avoid acids and oxidising agents.
3. Does it remove rain restrictions?
No. Follow the spray partner’s weather and rain instructions. Adding a sticker does not guarantee that a treatment will withstand any amount of rain.
4. Can I work out the amount from a pumpful alone?
Set the product amount, actual water volume and treated area together. Different sprayers and application settings can cover different areas.
5. How should I store the unused product?
Keep it tightly closed in the original container in a cool, dry, ventilated place. Protect it from freezing, direct sunlight and moisture, and keep it away from children, food and feed.
